API® Pond Melafix® Antibacterial Remedy
API® Pond Melafix® is an antibacterial remedy for treatment of Koi and goldfish diseases including eye cloud, mouth fungus, fin & tail rot, damaged fins, ulcers and open wounds. This all-natural remedy is safe for snails and other invertebrates. Will not affect pH, harm aquatic plants or inhibit healthy biological activity in the pond.
Remove carbon from pond filter and turn off any UV lights and ozone-producing units (if applicable). Add 1 tablespoon for every 150 gallons, or 1/4 cup for every 600 gallons. When using as a preventative while introducing new fish, apply daily for 3 days. When treating infections or wounds, apply daily for 7 days.
