Alarm System
The built-in alarm has a 3-position switch. Set the switch to "test" to hear the alarm and light. Always make sure the alarm is working properly before installation. Once installed, set the switch to "alarm" (flashing light and alarm sound) or "mute" (flashing light but no alarm sound) depending on your preference.

Connections
Air outlet is threaded inside for use with included barb adapter, but we recommend instead using the provided rubber elbow when connecting 3/8" tubing. Larger tubing may be connected directly to the smooth outer surface of the air outlet. 14mm outlet can accommodate 1/2" tubing, while 18mm outlet can accommodate 5/8" or 3/4" tubing. To use 1/2" tubing with 18mm outlet, you will need additional adapters.

On all models where the brass is used to connect to a septic pump alarm, the brass is 4mm.

2 Year Warranty
This warranty does not include the diaphragm kits, which are a replaceable, wearable part (typically replaced every 12-18 months). Warranties are at the discretion of the manufacturer as to whether the damage is due to misuse or to defect.

PGP Tip
The most common problem with this and other larger air pumps is premature diaphragm tearing due to excessive back pressure. People don't tend to understand how much air the large sized pumps produce. If an air pump is powering too small of a diffuser or too few outlets, excessive back-pressure can occur. The solution is to add a tee with a ball valve or other "bleeder valve" so that excessive air can be bled off into the atmosphere. Start with the valve completely open and slowly close it until you have the maximum output from your air diffusers without unnecessary back pressure.
