Note: Because these pumps are asynchronous, sizes excluding the BFED15,000 may be used with a rheostat. The Anjon VAC15A Variable Speed Controller may be used on BFED pumps up to and including the 5500. Asynchronous motors adjust to the electrical current that is given to them so that in addition to the obvious advantage of being able to adjust the pump's flow to suit your requirements you can save power, increase the pump's lifespan, reduce maintenance, and create a "soft start".
