Plantabbs Barley Logs® provides the benefits of barley in your pond with a few additional features. Everything comes encased in a mesh bag to keep the logs from breaking apart and clogging filters or settling to the pond bottom. A foam tube in the center aids wicking within the log and elongated straw around the outer portion of the log speeds degradation of the straw.
