- As a clarifier, the Classic 8W UV controls green water in freshwater ponds up to 1500 gallons (assuming 50-75% plant coverage and partial shade)
- As a sterilizer, the Classic 8W UV eliminates green water and controls bacteria in freshwater aquariums up to 200 gallons (maximum flowrate of 642gph) or saltwater aquariums up to 70 gallons (maximum flowrate of 214gph)
