These are not plastic or resin imitations - they are REAL Oak Whiskey Barrels cut in half and charred on the inside to flavor the whiskey.

  • Each Single Barrel Dimensions: 25.5" top diameter, 22" bottom diameter, 17.5" to 18" high
  • Weight: 50lb per barrel, up to 175lb for entire kit
  • Holds approx. 15-20 Gallons of water per container (pre-displacement)

These barrels were used to age whiskey and now they are being repurposed into wonderfully simple barrel ponds with a spillway. The top portion can be used as a planted bog and the bottom portion can be used as a SMALL fish pond. 

Bricks, Plants, and Fish are not included in the package.

This Kit is 1 full Authentic Whiskey Barrel cut in half (2 Pieces) to help create your very own DIY true barrel pond. The following components are included in this purchase.

  • Two Half Whiskey Barrels
  • Two Half Whiskey Barrel Rimmed liners. (one with spillway predrilled/one without spillway predrilled)
  • One 02710 Supreme 9.5 Pump, with Foam Pre-Filter and 10' cord
  • 4-6 Styrofoam liner supports
  • Components and fittings for assembly 1) 1/2" Bulkhead, 2) 1/2"MPT to 1/2" insert barb elbows, 1) insert Barb to Insert barb Elbow, 1) 3/4" FPT coupler, 1) 3/4" to 1/2" Barb Connector 1) 1/2" Threaded Nipple 4) HSS06 Stainless Steel Clamps, 1) roll of Teflon Tape for threaded connections. 
  • 1) 10' length of 1/2 Black vinyl tubing
  • Cut Matrix Block Side Wall for pad support, 4) 3"x 3" PVC cuts for Rack Support
  • 19" Black Matala Round Pad
  • (3) 50-pound-bags of 3/4" River Gravel

Refinished Half Whiskey Barrel with full liner extending out over most of the barrel's top rim. These hold water and are very clean in appearance. You will need to put fill beneath the barrel liner to give it strength and rigidity so that it does not hang from the rim.  Styrofoam insert cut to size to go between the barrel and liner are provided.

We do not ship this kit.  It is for LOCAL PURCHASE ONLY at our boutique in Downingtown PA.
