Aqua Logic Optima PLUS Inline Electrical Heaters for ponds and other aquatic uses AquaLogic
During the cold winter, Koi stop eating and live off their fat reserves, lowering their immune system. As the water begins to warm up, bacteria become active, and Koi can be in trouble. Keep your Koi strong all winter by heating your pond, keeping your Koi feeding consistently.
In the past, heating Koi ponds has meant running gas lines or propane lines out to the pond. Now with Aqua Logic Inline Heaters, you can have pond heating wherever you have electricity!
These OPTIMA PLUS heaters are the true workhorse of the Aqua Logic electric heat portfolio. The Optima Compact Plus with its’ unique and proven coiled titanium heating element delivers reliable performance and outstanding efficiency.
NOTE: The heater is intended to be installed in a permanent, dry, weatherproof area.

Need help deciding which heater to buy? In a 24-hour period, a 6000-watt heater will raise a 6000-gallon pond about 10° in temperature. A 8000-watt unit will raise the pond temperature in an 8000-gallon pond about 10° in 24-hours, etc. In other words it may require about a watt per gallon to make significant changes in your pond. The more significant the changes you need to make and maintain, the larger wattage heater you should purchase.
