Hand-built in the USA by Amish craftsmen, this handmade wooden hanging daybed is made entirely of knot-free Southern yellow pine.  Our yellow pine is grown in sustainable forests in the state of Georgia right here in the USA.     The wood is untreated and these mission swing beds don't use glue but fasteners only.

Perfect for outdoor relaxation on the porch! Includes chains or rope for hanging. This daybed fits an outdoor VersaLoft bed cushion or standard twin mattress (38"W x 75"L). If using standard bed mattress, only use in areas where mattress will stay dry.

Available in a wide variety of stains and paints (see additional photos). All stained options utilize Natural-Kote™ eco-friendly soy-based stain. All painted options utilize Natural-Kote™ non-toxic low-VOC paint. This paint contains only 25g/L of VOC -- only 10% of the maximum for non-toxic paints!

Hangs from four ropes or chains using either two or four ceiling hooks (not included). Recommended weight limit is 500 pounds. By default ropes are for 8' ceiling height, though upgrades are available here for higher ceilings.

It is acceptable to hang a twin size swing bed from either two or four points (ceiling hooks).

Important: All wooden products sold unfinished should be finished immediately with a paint or stain by the customer. No wood products should be left unfinished, as they are extremely susceptible, especially to humidity or water damage, in this state. Unfinished products should not be purchased unless adequate weather-safe storage is available while the product awaits treatment.
